Dedication page illustration for the upcoming release of the bilingual version of The Three Sunflowers. La Virgen de Guadalupe was the inspiration for the Gloria character in the book….
Ray Evans and his amazing craft beers have been my daily watercolor muses since I started painting a few years ago on a trip to Peru with some dear friends. These are most of the labels Ray and I have co-created over the last years….
And then there are a few that haven’t made it onto beer labels, at least not yet 🙂
Favorite flowers for my Auntie, and a copy of Edwin Deakin’s back of the Santa Barbara Mission…
You can do so much with water, paper and a bit of pigment!!! So grateful to my friend and teacher, Helena Hill for bringing this enjoyment to my life! And to my second teacher, Cathy Quiel for helping me hone my skills a bit further.
As well as a couple of other teachers and lots of encouragement along the way from friends and family…
Can you see the hidden angels in the pots above??? Look really closely! 🙂
These two above were inspired by friends’ photos…thank you Lisabette and Phil!
You are destined for micro-brew labels fame—I can tell you, this is true.~ Peggy
Thank you Dear Peggy Pie, but it’s truly the beer that is the star!
Wow. How can you be so modest about your body of work? I am truly blown away.
Thank you for taking a look Pat…and thank you for the kind words.
